Thursday evening E drove me half way to Kansas City. I got picked up and spent the night in KC. Woke up early in the morning and helped out around the sailing shop before heading out for my second 4 hour drive on Friday. (Friday was E's birthday and I felt sad about missing it). We drove from KC to Des Moines, IA and then hit the road by 5pm. We drove and drove and drove (and drove each other crazy) until 8pm tonight (Saturday).
We have a small cabin with two queen sized beds and 6 people! Yikes! Somehow I ended up with a bed : / I really think my skipper should have gotten a bed...but oh well.
I plan to post more, and maybe add pictures, so stay tuned!
